Are SMK air rifles any good? Okay, well, SMK is Sports Marketing, an importer, and distributor of a wide range of air rifles, including pre-charged pneumatic rifles and spring-powered rifles. It’s fair to say that their rifles are positioned at the lower end of the price scale. They are popular with beginners or those seeking a budget-friendly air rifle for occasional use in their garden. Generally, they are not considered ideal for hunting. While some may be suitable for short or medium-distance hunting, they are primarily favoured by plinkers.
SMK produces some decent plinking rifles, but it’s important to keep in mind that, like any lower-cost product, they are made to a budget. This means the quality of finish may not match that of more expensive rifles, and the engineering level may be lower as well.
