Daystate Huntsman Revere
There has been a Huntsman in the Daystate range since the start of the company over 40 years ago, and while it’s style of a sleek sporter is common across the years, each of the seven distinct versions brings with it another progression in this time-honoured line-up.The Huntsman Revere is the first Huntsman to have a sidelever action. Sidelever actions are especially popular with shooters of higher-powered air rifles because the system greatly reduces cocking effort. Further developments of the Huntsman’s hammer and valve system, along with the inclusion of a HUMA-Air Regulator, move the rifle into modern target rifle levels of performance. The Revere offers up to 40 ft/lbs of muzzle energy (in .25 calibre), with high-power performance up to 18 and 30 ft/lbs also available from .177 and .22 models respectively.
Safari Edition
The Safari Edition features Daystate’s tactile, raised-grain wood stock. Ambidextrous and incorporating a lower-seated action that’s been a hallmark of the Huntsman’s design for years, the ‘high-grip’ advantages the textured Safari stock brings are further enhanced by stippled panels to the grip and forend. Combined with its natural camouflage look, it has all the perfect attributes for the field. However, the Safari Edition’s stock has been subtly tweaked to also accommodate the needs of target shooters, without compromising the Revere’s inherent sporter feel. A rise-and-fall cheekpiece allows perfect eye alignment for both varmint and target-styled scopes – and its comb is finished in a soft-feel rubber for extreme comfort in all conditions and shooting disciplines. The Safari stock’s forend has been shaped to suit all holds and disciplines, too, with a broader shape and flatter base to assist those preferring to shoot off a bench. Its weight-relieved construction will appeal to hunters with large permissions to trek across, though stud-points have been incorporated for those who want to fit a sling, bipod or other shooting aid. The scalloped butt is as practical as it is aesthetic, ensuring good balance in the shoulder for hunters, and making the ideal anchor if shooting off a benchrest or bean bag.
That’s not all…
Additionally, the Revere sports a breech and an action optimised to work with an revised gate-loading self-indexing magazine system, which itself sports an even greater payload in .177 and .22 calibres. And included in the Revere package is Daystate’s latest single-shot loading tray for those not after the speedy re-loads offered by a magazine.Of course, standing alongside the Revere model are all the features that have made the Huntsman the benchmark of PCP sporter design. Features like a shrouded match-grade barrel– two-stage adjustable trigger and its magnificent sporter stock that cradles a lower-seated action to maximise handling. In walnut, in right or left handed stocks or with the new ambidextrous Safari stock, the Daystate Huntsman Revere remains the air rifle to be seen with.

FAQ
Shipping
We receive regular stock updates from Brocock and Daystate, which is why a lot of the time our guns are listed as out of stock. If your gun is in stock, it will usually be dispatched within a day or two, via Parcelforce, to your local RFD. If collecting from our suppliers direct in Staffordshire, we can arrange this fairly shortly after payment is made. Please note that this is subject to receiving the RFD’s certificate via email. If there are any delays in receiving this from your local RFD, this may hold up the delivery process. For collection from Richard at Reading Target Shooting Club, we’ll let you know as soon as Richard has the gun in hand.
You can check the stock status on our website. We do our very best to keep this as up to date as possible, as we want to avoid situations where people are waiting on back orders for guns, so we only sell in stock rifles in general. On rare occasions, your gun may have just gone out of stock before your order. In this instance, we’ll let you know right away so you can decide on whether to wait or receive a refund.
Due to UK regulations, and the fact that we are a small independent retailer, we do not have a network of RFD certified delivery drivers who are able to deliver door to door. We can only deliver to your local RFD at present.
Ordering
You can pay securely via credit / debit card on our website checkout, or request a bank transfer invoice if you prefer.
Add an in stock gun to your basket and proceed to checkout. The steps in checkout will guide you through the process. You’ll need to specify whether you want to collect your rifle or have it delivered to an RFD.
If your RFD is not already registered with Daystate and Brocock, we will reach out to them and request their RFD certificate to pass on. Note that this process may delay the order if the RFD is not responsive.
Returns and Warranty
Brocock warranties are valid 2 years (original owner) and Daystate warranties are valid 3 years (original owner). We’ll happily register the warranty for you, and you can decide at checkout.
You are covered by your UK consumer rights with regards to returns. In summary, if your gun is defective, we will cover return postage on your rifle and will refund or replace the rifle. If you no longer want your air rifle, it is imperative that it has not been opened or used. We do not cover return postage in this instance, and any signs of use or damage will mean deductions will be taken from the refund up to the full amount. Unwanted rifles must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
